Identify Perspective Group Members- Get Names:
Make a list of friends, co-workers, teammates, club members, etc. Anyone that you think may be interested in a getaway. Remember: They need not be experienced skiers to enjoy the trip.
Here are a few good sources for names: Your personal telephone book. Your email address book. Christmas card lists. Membership lists. Staff lists.
Convince a few friends to help you. Each friend can put together a similar list that you can use. If you get 46 people, you receive 2 free trips and other benefits. Share these incentives to get a co-organizer to help you.
Ask interested people to bring a friend on the trip (get their name and phone number). You can double your group easily this way. Keep a list of names, email addresses, and phone numbers of any interested people (use the phone).
Pass out cards/flyers - Advertise:
This packet has cards/flyers customized specifically for your Winter Ski Getaway Weekend. Make it a point to keep some of them with you at all times.
Distribute them at parties, special events, any place that people get together. Ask every interested person to get a friend. Post the cards/flyers on bulletin boards, in the cafeteria, announcement boards, etc. Anywhere they are most likely to be seen. If your organization has a newsletter, have an announcement of your trip appear in it, or better yet, ask them to mail one of your Getaway cards/flyers with their newsletter.

Other Suggestions:
Local Radio and TV stations as well as Newspapers have Community Bulletin Boards. Most would be willing to give you assistance with a trip if it is in the "community interest to do so." A little ingenuity on your part might convince the media as to why it's in the community's interest.
How about your Company or Club Newsletter, Newspaper or other Publication? More often than not, reporters are looking for activities that employees and members are involved in.
Use The Web - A Great Way To Organize:
If you have access to the internet, our staff can help you with creative ways to use the web to market your trip.
Build your email address book
Use e-mail Announcements to:
Introduce your trip and link them back to YOURTRIPINFO.COM
Send a second trip announcement if needed
Send deposit Reminder 1 week prior to First Deposit Due date
Send payment reminders as neededPost your trip on local online community and event bulletin boards.
Collecting Payments - Have an Action Plan!
Deposits will insure that you will have a successful trip. When a person gives you money, he or she is backing a commitment. Get your deposits early and you will be sure of filling your bus.
About two weeks before your deposit request date, call and email those people on your list that have expressed an interest. Remind them that a deposit is due to hold a place.
Set up a time and place for a deposit payment (ex. -- O.K., Jim, I'll see you at the meeting on Thursday night at 7:00. I'll take your deposit then.).
Catch people on payday (usually, but not always, Fridays).
